Istvan Matrai (HUN) likes the special atmosphere in Hoengg.
The GWC competition is also a team event for 3 shooters. 2 of them have to shoot over 30 m in standing and kneeling position and 1 of them over 10 m indoors in standing position.
The first competition of this kind was held 1992 in Hoengg. Later it took place several times in Berlin or Munich. And now it's always organized in Höngg-Zurich.

Horst Huber (GER), worldchampion 1997 30m standing position, Stephan Loretz (SUI), Beat Stoll (Hoengg) and behind the most successful Irène Beyeler (SUI), 6 time junior worldchampion 2006, from right to left.
The international event HZM takes always place on May 1th and get organized by the Crossbow Club Hoengg since 2000.
